What is Attendance Allowance?

Attendance Allowance is a UK benefit designed to help individuals over State Pension age who need assistance with personal care or supervision due to a disability or health condition. This financial support can be used to improve your quality of life, maintain independence or cover care costs.

Do You Qualify?

You may be eligible if you:

Are aged 66 or over

Have a physical or mental health condition requiring extra support

Have needed this support for at least 6 months (unless terminally ill)

Important: You can't claim Attendance Allowance if you're already receiving Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Adult Disability Payment (ADP), or Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
